Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research (HICOR) is a research institute at Fred Hutch whose mission is to reduce the economic and human burden of cancer for all communities by improving cancer prevention, detection, treatment and survivorship services. To achieve this, HICOR brings together researchers, patient partners, clinicians, payers and policymakers to share cancer-related data and generate clinically-relevant performance metrics that can guide improvements in care.
HICOR’s Annual Report highlights our ongoing work to improve the quality, affordability, and equity of cancer care through data-driven research and strong partnerships across the cancer community. Each year, we share key milestones from our research portfolio, updates on our strategy and impact, and insights from our collaborative efforts with patients, providers, payers and policymakers. The report reflects our commitment to transparency, community engagement and advancing evidence that helps drive better outcomes for people with cancer.
