At Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center we are advancing the standard of oncology care throughout the region by providing high quality medical education. Our oncology-specific education services focus on current and emerging standards of care and treatment options along the cancer care continuum with the goal of improving patient outcomes.
Fred Hutch provides symposiums, webinars and other educational programs about specific disease programs focusing on advancements to diagnostic techniques and treatment modalities. Our programs feature physician speakers from Fred Hutch, UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s.
Fred Hutch provides support for the growth of students, novice nurses and experienced nurses. This includes new to specialty registered (RN) fellowships, an RN residency program and medical assistance apprenticeships. Also available are scholarships and continuing education.
Fred Hutch has a visiting physician program for medical doctors with recent primary care experience. Participating physician rotate through our Blood and Marrow Transplant Program's clinical services.
Fred Hutch offers a two-year fellowship to learn the strategy and business development of Fred Hutch. Fellows work with service line management to develop an understanding of our organization and disease-specific programs.
