How to Apply

Qualifications

To apply, you must be a student or graduate of an accredited PA or NP program and have graduated at least three months prior to the program start date (November). If you are a student, this allows time to complete your exams, licensure and credentialing.

To qualify, you must:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university (a clinical or health-related master’s degree is preferred)
  • If you are a PA: Have passed or be eligible to take the NCCPA examination
  • If you are an adult, FNP or acute care NP: Have passed or be eligible to take the AANP or ANCC certification examination
  • Obtain Washington state licensure before the November program start date
     

Application Submission and Deadline

Applications are accepted January 1, 2026 through March 1, 2026.

Save the date: Interviews will be held all-day virtually on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Application Documents

Your Application Packet Should Include:

  • Personal statement of interest including a clear indication of why you are applying to this oncology fellowship and which area of focus you would like to pursue.
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Unofficial transcripts from PA or NP program
  • Must have no more than 2 reference letters from clinical peer or supervisor

*If less than 2 years of NP/PA experience, one of the letters is required to be from your Program Director.

Personal Statement

Your statement should be no longer than one page and include the reasons why you are interested in the fellowship and which focus you are applying for.

Curriculum Vitae

Please make sure your CV includes your email address and a phone number where we can reach you.

Transcript

Include an unofficial transcript from your PA or NP program that includes grades in each of your classes.

Letters of Recommendation

Include 2 reference letters from clinical peer or supervisor. 

*If less than 2 years of NP/PA experience, one of the letters is required to be from your Program Director.
