Fred Hutch provides comprehensive pharmacy services through its outpatient pharmacy. The pharmacy fills both retail prescription medications and specialty medications for Fred Hutch patients and caregivers.
As a specialty pharmacy accredited by the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), the pharmacy supports patients with complex, chronic or rare conditions that may require medications with specialized handling, storage or administration requirements. These medications are often not available through standard retail pharmacies.
Our pharmacy team works closely with patients, care teams and insurance providers to help ensure safe, timely and seamless access to the medications patients need.
Fill a Prescription at Fred Hutch
The Fred Hutch Pharmacy offers multiple ways to fill prescriptions and provides support 365 days a year.
Patients can fill prescriptions four ways:
- Have your care team send in a prescription before your visit
- Drop off a prescription at the pharmacy window
- Refill through MyChart
- Call the pharmacy directly at 206.606.6500

Driving Directions
There are multiple transit construction projects planned in the South Lake Union neighborhood around the Fred Hutch campus. There will be work on the I-5 Ship Canal Bridge and Fairview Avenue North as part of the RapidRide J Line project, that will not be complete until 2027. We apologize for the inconvenience but please plan for extra travel time due to congestion caused by the construction.
- Take 520 west
- Exit onto I-5 south
- Take exit 167 for Mercer St./Seattle Center
- On I-5 south, you will exit I-5 from the far-right lane
- As you exit, move to the far-right lane
- Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Fairview Ave. N.
- Veer right at the light, staying on Fairview Ave. N. and travel one block to Aloha St.
- Turn right onto Aloha St., and after 0.1 mile, turn right to arrive at the clinic
To enter the Sloan Clinic 1 parking garage, turn right into the alley after Yale Ave. N., just before the clinic circle driveway. Then, turn left into the parking garage. (If you have reached Eastlake Ave. E., you have driven too far.)
To enter the Sloan Clinic 2 parking garage, turn right onto Yale Ave. N. Then, turn left into the parking garage.
- Take I-90 west
- Exit onto I-5 north

- Head west on NE Pacific St. (This is the street that runs in front of UW Medical Center – Montlake, which is located at 1959 NE Pacific St.)
- Turn right onto 15th Ave NE
- Turn left onto NE Campus Pkwy
- Veer left on NE Campus Pkwy, pass through the tunnel, and cross the University Bridge. At this point, the street you are on becomes Eastlake Ave E.
- Follow Eastlake Ave E to Aloha St. (Do not bear right at Fairview Ave N)
- Turn right onto Aloha St. The Sloan Clinic is on your left.
To enter the Sloan Clinic 1 parking garage, turn left into the alley just after the clinic circle driveway. Then turn left into the parking garage. (If you have reached the four way stop at Yale Ave. N. you have driven too far.)
To enter the Sloan Clinic 2 parking garage, turn left on Yale Ave. N. and enter the garage entrance on the left.
Sloan Clinic 1 Drop-Off
Patients and their visitors may enter the roundabout off of Aloha Street for drop-off or pick-up in front of the main entrance.
Sloan Clinic 2 Drop-Off
Patients and their visitors may be dropped off or picked up along Yale Avenue in front of the main entrance.
Parking Information
Patients and their visitors may park in either underground garage noted below. Parking costs up to $4 and is the same for both valet and self-parking. There is no additional charge for valet parking.
Please allow extra time for construction and/or traffic delays when you come for your appointment. There are limited paid street parking options.
Sloan Clinic 1 Parking
Sloan Clinic 1 offers both valet and self-parking options in the same garage.
Valet Parking
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–6 p.m. PT, subject to change.
Closed on weekends and holidays.

Self-Parking
Prefer to park yourself? Self-parking is available in the same garage and available on weekends and holidays.
Fees for Valet and Self-Parking
0 – 30 minutes: Free
30 – 60 minutes: $1
1 – 1.5 hours: $2
1.5 – 2 hours: $3
Over 2 hours: $4
Self-parking is free in this garage on weekends and holidays.
EV Charging
One EV charging station is located in Sloan Clinic 1 garage, just inside the garage entrance.
Sloan Clinic 2 Parking
Sloan Clinic 2 offers valet parking only. The garage uses an automated system that moves and stacks vehicles mechanically.
For safety reasons, no people or animals may remain in your vehicle while using this garage.
Valet Parking
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. PT, subject to change.
Closed on weekends and holidays.

Fees for Valet Parking
Flat $4 fee for valet parking in Sloan Clinic 2.
EV Charging
EV charging is not available in Sloan Clinic 2.
Bicycle Parking
Sloan Clinic 1: Bicycle racks are available by the front entrance.
Sloan Clinic 2: Bicycle racks are available to the south of the parking garage entrance on Yale Avenue.
Shuttle and Transit
Our free Fred Hutch shuttle runs between the Sloan Clinic and UW Medical Center – Montlake, Pete Gross House and the Behnke Family House.
