Fred Hutch Cancer Center – Proton Therapy is located on the campus of UW Medical Center – Northwest in North Seattle. It offers both proton therapy and X-ray therapy (also called photon therapy) for adult and pediatric cancer patients. These are two separate types of treatment.
Proton therapy is a type of radiation treatment that precisely targets tumors with a goal of limiting harm to healthy tissue. X-ray therapy is a type of radiation treatment that uses high-energy X-rays to treat cancer.
Parking Information
Patients and visitors may park next to Fred Hutch – Proton Therapy in the parking spots marked “Proton Parking Only.” If all the spots are occupied, you may drop off any passengers at the front of the building and park anywhere else on campus.
If you are scheduled for an upcoming appointment, the concierge desk will provide a parking voucher for your visit.
