If you or a loved one has been treated for cancer, you may wish to take action — to honor your experience, help others, express solidarity or celebrate a milestone. If you have received exceptional care from a doctor or nurse, you may want to give in gratitude. Whatever your motivation, supporting Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is a powerful way to get involved, and we are grateful for your dedication. You can give by making a direct gift or by fundraising for an area of your choosing. Below, we’ll help you get started.
Making a donation in honor of a physician or nurse at Fred Hutch or UW Medicine is powerful, meaningful and easy to do. After your donation is made, we will notify your honoree with a beautiful and personalized tribute card. When you give, you partner with your care team and with Fred Hutch’s clinicians, researchers, and staff to advance research and care. Your gift has an impact today — and for those who may experience cancer in the future.
You can also set up a personal fundraiser and activate your community to support a specific person or program at Fred Hutch OR our areas of greatest need. For example, you might choose to raise money for a physician, nurse, researcher or disease area (such as lung or breast cancer), focus on the Fred Hutch Patient and Family Assistance Fund or our Palliative Care and Spiritual Health programs, or support our patient and family housing services, which provide families with a comfortable and convenient place to stay during treatment. Every dollar makes a difference!
No matter how you give, your support will help others. It will drive urgently needed advances in research and care. Fuel innovative new projects. And unlock additional support from private and federal sources.
In addition to supporting research and care, we invite you to consider:
