The SWOG is a cooperative group within the NCI National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) and National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Program (NCORP). The Statistics & Data Management Center (SDMC) for SWOG is co-located at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and Cancer Research And Biostatistics (CRAB) in Seattle, Washington. 

Statistical Center staff have responsibilities for study design and review, data collection and management, randomization procedures, reporting, data analysis and interpretation, data and safety monitoring, quality assurance, training, and computing system development, maintenance and support.

Dr. LeBlanc is director and group statistician of the SWOG Cancer Research Network Statistics & Data Management Center. SWOG has approximately 100 trials either in design and development, active accrual or analysis stages at any given time. Dr. LeBlanc has extensive experience and research expertise in the design and analysis of clinical trials.
