Researchers and physicians from the Hutchinson Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Medicine will share advances in genetically tailored treatment for prostate cancer at the "Breakthroughs in Prostate Cancer Research" symposium Saturday, March 16, from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Pelton Auditorium.
Also on the agenda are advances in prevention and early detection of prostate cancer. The program is organized into sessions featuring panelists—including Fred Hutch's Drs. Jonathan Wright, Janet Stanford, Ruth Etzioni and Elahe Mostaghel—who will outline their work and take questions. Breakfast, lunch and networking opportunities are included in the symposium, which is an annual presentation by the Institute for Prostate Cancer Research.
The program is free, but registration is required. For more information or to register, visit www.fhcrc.org/ipcr or call (206) 288-7005.
