College basketball enthusiasts can channel their "March Madness" to benefit the general research fund at the Hutchinson Center by logging on to Brackets for Hope, a website for NCAA basketball fans created last year by a group of Fred Hutch supporters in Wisconsin. The website, now in its second year, allows hoops fans to fill out brackets online, donate to the Hutch and enter to win donated prizes at the same time.

How to participate in Brackets for Hope:

  • Visit www.bracketsforhope.org
  • Between March 17 and 21, fill out your NCAA tournament bracket and you'll be entered to win prizes.
  • Make a donation on the site via PayPal (no donation necessary to win).
  • Tell your friends, family, and colleagues to play, too.

Brackets for Hope—also on Facebook and Twitter—is the brainchild of basketball fans who wanted to do something meaningful with their customary annual celebration of the NCAA basketball tournament. Click here for the full set of contest rules.
