Volunteer: Sell cure cards; get 20% off at U Village March 15-17

Help ensure the success of 'Shop to Make a Difference' benefiting research at Fred Hutch; volunteers get a free discount shopping card

Think early-spring fashion preview—and a chance to buy those fashions at a big savings—at University Village’s annual Shop to Make a Difference fundraiser to benefit women’s cancer research at Fred Hutch. For the first time the event is happening in March.

If you sign up to sell discount shopping cards during the popular March 15-17 event, you’ll receive a free card valid for 20 percent off at participating stores and restaurants.

Volunteers sell the discount Cure Cards for $25 apiece at the shopping center; three-hour shifts are available. To volunteer, contact Joyce Knoer at jknoer@fhcrc.org or (206) 667-3789.

The growing roster of participating shops and restaurants includes Anthropologie, Eileen Fisher, Pottery Barn Kids, Ram Restaurant, Kid’s Club, Hanna Andersson, Storables, Mrs. Cook’s, and many more.
