Puget Sound Business Journal will honor Myra Tanita, chief operating officer of the Hutchinson Center, among the journal’s 2011 Women of Influence.

PSBJ recognizes local women annually for their influence in the business world and the community—and as mentors to other women. The 2011 Women of Influence will receive recognition at a banquet on Nov. 16.

In addition to her work at the Center, Tanita serves on the boards of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, and the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research. She is also a board member of the Asian Counseling Referral Service and the Seattle Parks Foundation.
