Two restaurant events to benefit Center

Dine on Turkish food at Bistro Turkuaz Nov. 1-10 or stop by Serious Pie Nov. 7-20 and start generating proceeds that benefit Center science or Pete Gross House

If cool weather has you craving a cozy restaurant meal, consider helping Hutchinson Center programs while you check out a Turkish or Italian restaurant during November.

Dine to benefit the Center, get free cookbook

From Nov. 1-10, Bistro Turkuaz in Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood, will give you a complimentary cookbook featuring signature recipes from local chefs. To qualify, dine at the bistro and sign up for the free Celebrated Chefs program. Once you’ve signed up, select the Center as your beneficiary and 5 percent of your bill will automatically serve as a donation to Center research when you dine at Bistro Turkuaz and other participating restaurants.

Raffle tickets benefit Pete Gross House

From Nov. 7-20, stop by Tom Douglas’ South Lake Union restaurant Serious Pie Westlake for a chance to win a Serious Pie gourmet pizza dinner and drinks for 10 (valued at $250) and other great prizes. To enter the contest, buy raffle tickets at $5 each (no food purchase necessary). All proceeds from the raffle benefit the Center’s Pete Gross House.
