Dr. Carla Grandori of the Human Biology Division was recently appointed one of University of Washington’s inaugural Entrepreneurial Faculty Fellows.

Grandori, whose Hutchinson Center lab uses functional genomics and high throughput screening to identify new targets for cancer therapy, is also a professor in the UW’s Pharmacology program. She was chosen for the honor by the school’s Center for Commercialization based on her entrepreneurial experience.

Grandori receives $5,000 per year in discretionary commercialization funds for up to two years for travel, research or market analysis.
