Women of Color Empowered honors Chu Chen, Mary Flowers Sept. 23

Drs. Chu Chen and Mary Flowers are among a select group of women who will be honored at a luncheon Friday, Sept. 23, for making a difference in health care. The luncheon, sponsored by Women of Color Empowered, features a panel discussion entitled "Race, Gender, Equity and Disparity in Health Issues." The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the China Harbor Restaurant. Advance tickets are $20 per person, $30 at the door. Discounts are available for students with identification. Men are welcome!
