Development of DNA editing enzymes that target the genomes of viruses that undergo latent infections

Development of viral vectors for gene delivery to sites of latent viral infection

Current Projects

Development of adenovirus and AAV vectors for gene delivery to sites of HBV, HIV, HPV and HSV latency

Use of engineered zinc finger nucleases and homing endonucleases to disrupt HBV & HIV genomes
