Harold M. Weintraub

Weintraub Graduate Student Award

The Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award recognizes outstanding achievement during graduate studies in the biological sciences.

Fred Hutch established this annual award to honor the bold, creative, pioneering spirit embodied by Hal Weintraub. Weintraub also earned deep respect and admiration as a caring mentor and supportive colleague.

This award is open to all graduate students in the biological sciences.

It is supported by the Weintraub/Groudine Fellowship for Science and Human Disease.

Postdoctoral Fellows

The Basic Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship Award

Training and developing the next generation of scientists is critical for future scientific and medical breakthroughs. By bringing new ideas and technical skills to their host laboratories, postdoctoral trainees drive technical and intellectual innovations, mentor students, and greatly contribute to the research of their host institutions.

This award is open to all early-career Postdoctoral Fellows in the Basic Sciences Division at Fred Hutch.

It is supported by the Elvira and Edward Hahn Endowment for Basic Science Fellows and other generous donors.
