Medical Oncology

“It is important that patients are well-informed, and I hope to be able to provide that service to them in order to help them make the best medical decisions regarding their care.”

— Aliscia

What do you hope it's like for a patient to work with you?

Each patient is an individual and has different goals and concerns. I hope to provide excellent patient care while working with each patient and their families to reach those goals and address their concerns. I do this by listening carefully and providing them with accurate medical knowledge and options specific to their diagnosis or condition.

Why do you practice oncology?

I chose to work in healthcare, because I wanted to help people in a meaningful and significant way and healthcare is an integral part of people's lives. I want to help people live their best lives by providing excellent healthcare. In my lifetime, I look forward to seeing further advancements in early diagnosis and prevention of cancer in the future. Outside of caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my family here and in the Midwest, exploring new places, and enjoying good food.

Clinical Trials

We make promising new treatments available to you through studies called clinical trials led by Fred Hutch physicians. Many of these trials at Fred Hutch have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your physician can decide if a study is right for you.

Your Care Team

At Fred Hutch, you receive care from a team of providers with extensive experience in your disease. Your team includes physicians, a patient care coordinator, a registered nurse, an advanced practice provider and others, based on your needs. You also have access to experts like registered dietitians, social workers, acupuncturists, psychiatrists and more who specialize in supporting people with cancer or blood disorders.

Insurance

Fred Hutch accepts most national private health insurance plans as well as Medicare. We also accept Medicaid for people from Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. We are working to ensure that everyone, no matter what their financial situation, has access to the care they need.
