Starting today, you can double your impact in the fight against cancer and, just maybe, meet a rising star in Major League Baseball.
As part of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center’s partnership with the Seattle Mariners, the team will match donations to the Hutch through Aug. 7. Those who give online during this promotion will be entered automatically for a chance to win four Mariners tickets and an on-field photo opportunity with outfielder and Fred Hutch ambassador Mitch Haniger.
Haniger is among four Mariners who have been selected to participate in the 89th MLB All-Star Game, which will be held tomorrow at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Joining him on the American League roster will be closer Edwin Diaz, shortstop Jean Segura and designated hitter Nelson Cruz.
“We love partnering with the Seattle Mariners and hope fans near and far will help us go to bat against cancer,” said Kelly O’Brien, vice president of Philanthropy at the Hutch. “We encourage everyone to share this promotion with friends and family to double the impact of their gifts and show their appreciation for our hometown team.”
Note: Those who don’t wish to donate can still enter for a chance to win tickets and meet Haniger. See the donation form for more information.
Every dollar counts. Please support lifesaving research today.
