Dr. Jennifer Adair, a researcher in the Clinical Research Division’s Kiem Lab, recently received an Excellence in Research award from the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy. Adair presented her award-winning work at ASGCT’s annual meeting in Washington, D.C., last month.
Using gene therapy for blood cancers and other genetic diseases, Adair conducts preclinical research and translates preclinical strategies into clinical care. Adair coordinates gene therapy clinical trials based at the Hutchinson Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and University of Washington.
