Anissa Hickey, president of the Grace Heffernan Arnold Guild, recently presented a check from the 33rd annual Hutch Holiday Gala for $2.2 million to Kevin Parker, Gala manager, who accepted on behalf of the Hutchinson Center.

Hosted by the Grace Heffernan Arnold Guild and the Hutch Holiday Gala Board of Directors, the annual Hutch Holiday Gala has raised more than $60 million during the past 33 years to support vital research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Last year’s Gala raised $2.2 million in private contributions to benefit the following research initiatives and patient and family program at the Hutchinson Center: early detection and intervention, tumor research, fundamental research, international research, childhood cancers and the Hutch School.

The Hutch Holiday Gala is the single largest fundraiser benefiting the Hutchinson Center. The Gala is a black-tie event featuring extravagant live and silent auctions, an elegant dinner and late-night dancing with more than 800 business and community leaders in attendance.
