Dr. Jim Leng is a radiation oncologist whose research focus is on global health in radiation oncology. He is interested in the development of global programs for cancer prevention and treatment, and how modern cancer programs can be adapted to low and middle-income countries as the global burden of cancer continues to increase. As a member of the UW Program in Global Oncology and Health Equity in Radiation Oncology, his research concentrates on brachytherapy delivery, access to care and the cost-effectiveness of radiotherapy through an ongoing international partnership.
