Research After Dark (RAD) Networking is hosting a panel on Current Politics & Your Path in Research, open to Biomedical Research Postdocs and Graduate students at Fred Hutch, University of Washington, and Seattle Children’s.

 

Whether you're curious about how policy shifts affect research or the current landscape, this session offers an inside look at the intersection of science and government. You will hear from government relations leadership at Fred HutchUniversity of Washington, and Seattle Children's in a panel discussion on:

  • Evolving policy shifts

  • Impacts on research institutions

  • What trainees can expect for funding and career pathways

 

This event will be held on Thursday, May 21 at 4pm in Fred Hutch, Thomas Building, Pelton Auditorium. Followed by happy hour in the Double Helix Cafe. 

 

RAD Networking group is led by graduate students and postdocs from Fred Hutch, UW, and Seattle Children’s organizing networking events for trainees in the Seattle area.
