The COVID-19 Clinical Research Center (CCRC) is a stand-alone building on the Fred Hutch South Lake campus. It is designed to support active COVID-19 research participants outside a hospital setting that prioritizes participant and staff safety. It’s important to remember that not all participants will have SARS-Cov-2; some will be healthy volunteers and others will have recovered from illness and are enthusiastic about sharing their body’s response to the virus to help further science. Entry points and areas of use are separated accordingly. Clear signage and wayfinding have also been established throughout campus and online for reference.
The CCRC is located on Fred Hutch campus in South Lake Union at the “Minor” building. The campus is just north of the I-5 entry/exit. From Fairview Avenue North, you will turn to head East on Aloha Street (across from the Kraken merchandise store).
The Minor building has bright teal columns to identify it and is located on the right-hand side of Aloha street. The parking garage is on the North side of the building, accessed from Aloha Street by passing by Minor Street and turning right to enter the garage driveway- following the blue arrow marked in the photo below.
This entryway is Entrance B.
After you have parked in the garage, please walk to the building’s access door.
There is an intercom to the left of the door; press the button on the intercom and the study team will buzz you in and help in directing you from there!
Before your first visit, tour the Fred Hutch's COVID-19 Clinical Research Center and view where you will be parking, how you will enter the clinic, and explore the clinic space. Click anywhere on the image to move it right or left to view select spaces. And watch for prompts - throughout the tour you will see circles or arrows that will take you through doors and through the clinic.
