Medical Oncology
The same disease can mean very different things for each patient. An important part of my job is to partner with you to match the possibilities for treatment with your goals and preferences.
B-cell malignancies
At SCCA, I specialize in treating B-cell malignancies, a diverse group of diseases that includes non-Hodgkin lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). In addition to caring for patients at SCCA, I also provide general oncology care at the Seattle VA. My research is focused on two main areas. The first is investigating novel, low-toxicity therapies for B-cell malignancies and the second is studying how patient factors affect cancer treatments and their outcomes.
