Radiology

“I devote my work to clinical activity, teaching and research in nuclear medicine.”

— Dr. Matesan

Why do you practice oncology?

I believe that targeted radiotherapy will significantly improve outcome in patients with malignant disease in my lifetime. My areas of research include the application of nuclear medicine in oncology, such as liver-directed radiotherapy, radioimmunotherapy, neuroendocrine tumors and brain imaging. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and outdoor activities.
