Infectious Disease

What's your philosophy of care?

I believe in spending time getting to know patients in order to understand their goals and incorporate those into education and treatment regarding disease processes. Cancer patients have a special perspective on life and I want to prevent infections from complicating cancer treatment. I hope that we will be able to make advances in infectious diseases such that they no longer complicate stem cell transplants. I want to help people enjoy healthy, fulfilling lives.

Clinical Trials

We make promising new treatments available to you through studies called clinical trials led by Fred Hutch physicians. Many of these trials at Fred Hutch have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your physician can decide if a study is right for you.
