Hematology-Oncology

“What drew me to medicine are the relationships I form with patients and the difference we can make through research.”

— Dr. Raychaudhuri

What brought you to oncology?

The biggest driving factors that brought me to oncology were the relationships I had with patients with leukemia during my early training. I am also motivated by the desire to focus on the gaps that still exist in leukemia treatment and how research can contribute to addressing them. I credit a lot of this motivation to the mentorship I have had in my clinical research training.

What do you hope it’s like for a patient to work with you?

I hope patients find me to be someone they can trust and who will be honest with them throughout the whole experience. My goal is to be a docotor they can rely on and who can determine a path forward.

Provider Background

Malignant hematology

I am a hematologist oncologist who sees patients at the Sloan Clinic and Fred Hutch at UW Medicine - Montlake.

We are always trying to bring the latest research to the front line of patient care. My work as a clinical researcher is most rewarding when it directly benefits patients.

Many of these trials at Fred Hutch have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your physician can decide if a study is right for you.
