Radiology

“My goal is to build trust and mutual respect with patients and to meet them where they are. I want people to feel at ease and to be a positive part of their overall experience.”

— Dr. Mileto

What do you value about your work?

My philosophy of care is patient-centered. We are all here to support patients and their families as they make decisions about their health and treatment. I value collaboration to get the best outcomes for patients and a team-based approach where patient values and preferences come first. I strive to provide patients with the best, most up-to-date care.

What brought you to diagnostic radiology?

When I was a medical student, I was interested in pathology because it allows us to recognize patterns and signatures on a micro level. Then I did a rotation in radiology and realized we could use imaging tools to see things and make a diagnosis in a noninvasive fashion — possibly at an earlier stage — and this is how I came to focus on imaging for cancer.

Clinical Trials

We make promising new treatments available to you through studies called clinical trials led by Fred Hutch physicians. Many of these trials at Fred Hutch have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your physician can decide if a study is right for you.
