How We're Keeping You Safe
Behnke Family House and Pete Gross House staff work closely with our Infection Prevention team to protect patients and caregivers from the spread of respiratory illnesses.
We are taking the following steps:
- All staff, patients and caregivers are encouraged to wear masks when outside of their room.
- Masks are available at the front desk for all guests. If guests have any respiratory symptoms they are required to mask in public areas of the building.
- Patients and caregivers are asked to self-screen for respiratory symptoms as they check into the houses.
- Respiratory screening criteria will be provided at check-in.
- All common areas have been designed to allow for social distancing or may be restricted during periods of high community infection rates.
- Patients and caregivers must provide their cell phone numbers at check-in. This allows us to contact them if they are exposed to an illness that can spread to others.
- You may be asked to take additional steps to protect yourself and others as community infection rates change. Current information about respiratory illnesses will be posted in patient houses as it is updated.
