Dr. Jonathan L. Wright is a urologic oncologist and clinical research leader who specializes in genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder and testicular cancers. As a surgeon, he performs both robotic/laparoscopic and traditional open surgery, and as a researcher, he works to find new tests and treatments and bring them to patients.
A graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine (MD) and the University of Washington School of Public Health (MS, epidemiology), Dr. Wright also completed a residency in urology and a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, and has been recognized multiple times as a Top Doctor in both Seattle Met and Seattle magazines as well as other publications.
Dr. Wright is a member of the Fred Hutch Cancer Center Seattle Translational Tumor Research (STTR) program and the Fred Hutch/University of Washington/Seattle Children's Cancer Consortium prostate program. He serves on the executive board of the Washington State Urological Association and is board-certified by the American Board of Urology.
