Infectious Disease

“I aim to ease my patients’ anxieties by offering them and their families all the information they need about their infections. I look forward to working in a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care and support for my patients.”

— Dr. Tayyar

What do you value about your work?

I believe in building trust with my patients and their families by getting to know them at a personal level so I can help them fight their infections. I also strongly believe in improving patient’s quality of life by giving them options to help prevent and overcome infections.

Do you have a personal story about a patient you’d like to share?

When I found out I would be moving to Seattle, a patient said, “I’m going to follow you there.” It was a very big validation for me and a very nice thing for her to say.
