Urology
I work hard to deliver the best possible care to every patient. I want to make sure patients feel my great compassion for what they and their loved ones are going through. I always keep a patient's personal goals of care at the forefront of all medical decision-making.
My favorite moments are always when patients receive the news that their cancer was completely resected — removed in surgery — and their surveillance tests are negative for recurrence.
Witnessing the joy in their faces during these moments is priceless. It makes all of our hard work worth it.
Area of Clinical Practice
Cancers of the genitourinary tract, urology
I am a physician who sees patients at UW Medical Center – Montlake.
My main research focus is on prostate cancer, including screening, early detection and management of localized prostate cancer, with a special focus on germline genetics. New and exciting treatment paradigms are likely to emerge from our research efforts here, and it’s an honor to be a part of efforts to improve patient outcomes.
