Medical Oncology
After helping to care for loved ones who had cancer, I realized the difference one provider can make. I wanted to be able to provide the comfort, support and knowledge to patients that I learned was so important. I hope to provide the same warmth and care to my patients and their loved ones that I experienced as a family member.
I work with my patients to make sure they fully understand their options and feel empowered by their choices. I am there to listen to their needs and hopefully provide a safe and understanding space to help them navigate the process and their emotions. I believe that knowledge is power, and the more I can help them understand their disease and treatment, the better they can make informed decisions that are best for themselves and their loved ones.
Kidney cancer, melanoma
I am an advanced registered nurse practitioner who sees patients at the South Lake Union Clinic.
Cancer diagnosis and treatment is a very overwhelming and scary time for patients and their loved ones, and I felt that I had a calling to be the caring, supportive and empowering provider that patients need during this difficult time. I also work as a sub-investigator for all current renal/melanoma clinical trials.

We make promising new treatments available to you through studies called clinical trials led by Fred Hutch doctors. Many of these trials at Fred Hutch have led to FDA-approved treatments and have improved standards of care globally. Together, you and your doctor can decide if a study is right for you.
At Fred Hutch, you receive care from a team of providers with extensive experience in your disease. Your team includes doctors, a patient care coordinator, a registered nurse, an advanced practice provider and others, based on your needs. You also have access to experts like nutritionists, social workers, acupuncturists, psychiatrists and more who specialize in supporting people with cancer or blood disorders.
Fred Hutch accepts most national private health insurance plans as well as Medicare. We also accept Medicaid for people from Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. We are working to ensure that everyone, no matter what their financial situation, has access to the care they need.
The Media Relations team at Fred Hutch is available to assist members of the news media who would like to arrange interviews with providers.
