“The wide range of emotions patients experience during their breast cancer diagnosis has always given me inspiration. We have to remember all our patients have unique experiences and backgrounds that inform their responses. These emotions never fail to remind me of our shared humanity.”

— Dr. Dontchos

How would you describe your approach to care?

I strive to deliver effective, safe, high-quality and equitable care to all of my patients. I achieve this by adhering to national standards of care for every patient during every encounter. Every visit is a crucial moment for my patients, and I try to keep that in mind.

Why should a patient receive care at Fred Hutch?

We are an integrated team of highly specialized providers in all aspects of breast cancer care, offering screening, diagnosis and treatment in one location. Our mission is a shared one: to provide high-quality patient care in a safe environment that promotes professional collaboration.
