Dr. Michael Wu is a biostatistician whose research focuses on the development and application of statistical methods for translational science, including clinical trials, and population-based studies. He applies his statistical expertise toward the “omics” sciences, which include genomics, epigenomics, proteomics/metabolomics and metagenomics. Dr. Wu is also a member of the Fred Hutch-based SWOG Statistical Center, for which he helps design and analyze cancer clinical trials. Other areas of interest include reproductive and birth outcomes, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease and environmental health-related traits.
