Background
Biostatistician Dr. Yunda Huang develops and applies statistical methods to the design and analysis of clinical trials of biomedical interventions preventing or treating infectious diseases. Her work focuses on the assessment of safety and efficacy of vaccines and immune proteins called monoclonal antibodies against pathogens such as HIV and SARS-CoV-2. Dr. Huang also specializes in analyzing immunological biomarkers and models the pharmacokinetics of new monoclonal antibodies, or how they move through our bodies.
