What brought you to oncology?

The people drew me to being an oncologist focused on lymphoma. At the end of the day, I realized each cancer is unique and each person is, too. Determining the best treatment depends on getting to know each individual person and each person’s situation and really working to make the optimal treatment for them so we can cure their cancer.

What do you hope it’s like for a patient to work with you?

I hope my patients feel cared for and that they see me as someone who is 100% in their corner who will do anything possible to help them. I want to be seen as an advocate on your team, someone who understands you and cares about you.
