SEATTLE — July 13, 2017 — The 12th annual list of the best health practitioners in the Seattle area features 903 doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, in more than 90 specialties. SCCA physician Dr. James O. Park is featured in an interview with a focus on what inspired him to pursue a career in medicine.
This year’s complete list, resulted from a poll conducted by Professional Research Services, a survey company engaged by Seattle Met. Health care practitioners licensed by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) in King, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Pierce counties, were asked, “If you or a loved one needed care, whom would you choose?”
Voters nominated their peers on elements that included years of experience, patient satisfaction, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across specialties to deliver the best patient care.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance swept the Cancer Surgery specialty category, and achieved impressive results in the Gynecologic Oncology category.
