Medical Oncology
I draw from my personal history as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Kiribati and as a senior clinical advisor in rural Nepal to understand that each patient and family has unique goals, challenges and hopes in managing their life with cancer.
Both my grandfather and father were diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Area of Clinical Practice
Genitourinary malignancies, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, immunotherapy
I chose to dedicate my career to investigating cures for prostate cancer during my research and fellowship training with my mentor, Charles Drake, MD, PhD, a prominent prostate cancer immunologist.
I am involved in patient care as well as clinical and translational research. My research focuses on advancing novel therapies in genitourinary malignancies and identifying immunologic biomarkers suggestive of clinical response.
