Dr. Julian Simon is a medical chemist who studies small molecules to understand complex biological processes and find new therapies for diseases and disorders ranging from cancer to hearing loss. His lab screens large libraries of natural and synthetic compounds to identify promising drug candidates, then seeks to understand – and improve – their therapeutic value.
