Portrait of Vera Fang, DPT.

Early on, Vera Fang discovered a passion for helping patients with cancer and decided to become a supportive care clinician. She specialized in lymphatic care after realizing her skills could help this niche, and still underserved, patient population.

Vera loves working with patients, especially since it allows her to connect and converse with people from all walks of life. “Seeing my patients’ smiles is incredibly rewarding,” she said. She currently sees patients at Fred Hutch Cancer Center – Sloan Clinic

Born and raised in Taiwan, Vera spent her childhood in a fishing village surrounded by nature. She came to the U.S. on her own to study and loves exploring new things (she’s traveled to over 30 countries!). Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, camping, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Patient Care Philosophy

I listen to my patients needs and deliver professional physical therapy (PT) recommendations and interventions. But at the same time, I always respect their autonomy and their ultimate decisions. I want patients to know that questions and ideas are always welcome, as long as we maintain mutual respect. I will do my best to help you with my physical therapy expertise.
