The Cancer AI Alliance — CAIA — includes Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins.

Improving the Patient Experience with Nurse Navigation

Nurse navigators play an important role in helping newly diagnosed patients coordinate their care, get connected with resources, and reduce emergency department visits. Since its inception, the program has cut the median time from diagnosis to therapy from 42 days down to 28 days.
