Seattle Magazine Names 56 Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Top Doctors

SEATTLE —  April 2, 2019 —  Physicians from SCCA’s three world-class partner organizations—Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Children’s and UW Medicine—appear prominently throughout the list, as well as two of its clinical care sites: a medical oncology clinic at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Washington and the medical and radiation oncology clinics at UW Medicine - Northwest Hospital & Medical Center.

This year’s complete list, compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., includes nearly 400 doctors in 66 specialties, all nominated by their peers for providing exceptional patient care. This year, Castle Connolly opened the nomination survey process to all licensed physicians in 66 specialty areas in the region from June 14 to July 14, 2018. Over 5,000 nominations were submitted by more than 534 physicians. After reviewing all nominations, Castle Connolly identified more than 1,400 Top Doctors with primary offices located in King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties, before selecting the elite list of 397 providers that appear in Seattle magazine’s April 2019 issue. SCCA doctors earned honors in 23 categories.

SCCA physicians earned most of its nominations in medical oncology and numerous types of surgery, with 27 of its doctors being recognized in these respective categories.
