The seventh annual Cornish Art Exhibition is now on display in the Arnold Building—134 new pieces representing the work of 23 graduating students.

It’s a unique employee benefit—the continuous presence on campus of fresh, energetic creations by artists emerging from the Cornish College of the Arts. The seventh annual Cornish Art Exhibition is now on display in the Arnold Building—134 new pieces representing the work of 23 graduating students.

The Hutchinson Center and Cornish College established the art loan partnership in 2005. Each year, the Public Health Sciences Art Task Force visits the Cornish Art Department’s Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition to select pieces. At the close of the BFA Exhibition, the selected art comes to the Center for installation throughout the Arnold Building.

Artwork on the Level 1 entryway, the Atrium, Café and elevator lobby area is accessible to everyone during normal business hours. Artwork in secured office and conference room areas is only assessable to employees and by appointment during the year.

Artwork available for purchase

Most pieces from the one-year installation are available for purchase by employees and the general public; the task force may also acquire art for the Center’s permanent Collection.
