You are invited to High Five to HIPEC: Finding Hope and Health with Peritoneal Cancer, a free virtual event hosted by Fred Hutch Cancer Center in partnership with the Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (ACPMP) Research Foundation and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) Pals. This event is for people affected by peritoneal cancers – patients, survivors and caregivers.
Attendees will hear medical experts discuss the role of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) in treating peritoneal cancers, with this year’s focus on appendiceal, colorectal and gastric cancers, and peritoneal mesothelioma. Experts will also discuss surgical and systemic (chemotherapy) treatment options, multidisciplinary approaches to treatment, survivorship, clinical trials, and the role of nutrition, physical therapy and integrative medicine for people affected by these cancers.
This event is open to all patients and caregivers including those both in and outside of Fred Hutch or UW Medicine care.
Registration is required. Registration closes on Mar 27, 2026 at 2 p.m. PT.
