Our program will feature outstanding, internationally recognized experts in the field, representing more than 23 institutions, who will speak on topics including infections in solid organ transplant, hematopoietic cell transplant and oncology. The symposium will address fungal disease, respiratory viruses, C. difficile, CMV, immunotherapy, the microbiome, and antimicrobial stewardship. Speakers will cover controversies in the field through multiple panel discussions and a pro/con debate with audience response opportunities for an interactive two-day symposium.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(TM). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Once again, we have secured funding to offer stipends to eligible fellows, residents, medical students and other trainees with an interest in the area of infectious diseases in immunocompromised patients. Underrepresented minority trainees are especially encouraged to apply.
