Hutch School to close at end of school year

For the past 30 years, the Hutch School has provided educational services to assist both patients and family members. Not only has the school provided support to patients, it has been a passion project and a true labor of love. Sadly, declining enrollment, coupled with the mounting challenges and costs of delivering K-12 services in a sustainable and comprehensive manner has led to the difficult decision of closing the school in June 2018 at the conclusion of the current school year.

In addition to helping families connect with resources in the Seattle Public School system, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) will be providing support and assistance to displaced staff by helping them pursue new opportunities.

Please email Jim Jorgensen at SCCA or call 206-606-1359 for more information.
