Climb to Fight Cancer Committee

Ice Axe? Check. Boots? Check. Game-changing Cancer Research?
Check, check, check.

In 1997, a small group of men and women joined together to climb Mt. Adams and raise money for cancer research at Fred Hutch. Since then, the Climb to Fight Cancer has grown to include iconic peaks around the world. Together, climbers have raised more than $9 million dollars for research.

The Climb to Fight Cancer Committee is a team of energetic volunteers committed to both cancer research and the exuberance of the outdoors. Climbing experience is always useful, but you don’t have to be a climber to join this lively group! The Climb to Fight Cancer Committee welcomes new members with fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a desire to raise money and spark new awareness. Together, they are helping more people understand the need for cures and the world-changing work happening at Fred Hutch.
