The set of two license plates (front and back of one vehicle) costs $72.25 for passenger vehicles and $54.75 for a motorcycle. Please note that total costs and fees may vary depending on your vehicle. Contact your local licensing office for specific fees.
No. You can purchase a Fred Hutch plate at any time. A yearly plate renewal fee will apply.
For each set of plates sold, $28 goes directly to fund research.
For each year you renew your vanity license plate, an additional $28 will go toward research at the Hutch.
Unless you request personalized plates, your new number will be assigned by the DOL computer system. Plates are assigned in numerical order when a transaction is finalized.
Check out the DOL’s personalized plate search to see if your preference is available. You may personalize your plate with up to seven characters (6 characters for motorcycles), including letters, numbers, dashes and spaces. No unusual characters (&, !, @ , +, #, etc.)

The plates are mailed to the registered owner within two business days of purchase.
Yes! These plates may be transferred to your new vehicle. Be sure to register your new car and existing plates with the DOL.
