HICOR is committed to advancing high-quality research that drives clinical practice and policy change, and to developing the next generation of leaders in cancer outcomes research.
The BAYER Fellowship Program is a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in health econmics and outcomes research. To help meet the growing need for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) researchers, the Hutchinson Institute for Cancer Outcomes Research (HICOR) at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, in conjunction with Bayer Healthcare, has curated a unique fellowship program focused on oncology.
This fellowship program is designed to train post-doctoral students in advanced techniques pertaining to HEOR evaluation of cancer pharmaceuticals and related health care technologies. The fellowship combines one year of academic research experience in the Public Health Sciences Division of Fred Hutch with one year of industry experience at Bayer HealthCare in New Jersey to provide fellows with both the theoretical tools and the practical experience to become skilled researchers in this increasingly important discipline.
